There are free dictation tools. Why pay?
Many free tools give you a raw transcript. AURIS gives you clean text, with your glossary, without settings to tune. Try both for 15 days and keep the one you actually use.
Isn't the Mac's built-in dictation enough?
Try it yourself: dictate the same sentence, with an “um” and a proper name, in both. Then keep what works for you.
How long can I dictate?
Up to 10 minutes per dictation. For long passages, use hands-free mode so you don't have to hold the key.
