Text is inserted into compatible text fields. If insertion is unavailable, paste it from the clipboard.
Your clinical terms
Add terms, approaches and names to your glossary once. AURIS writes them your way.
Temporary audio retention
The last successfully processed audio is kept locally for up to five minutes. A recording awaiting crash recovery is kept separately until that recovery is resolved.
History you control
Your last 20 dictations stay on your Mac so you can copy them again. Turn history off if you prefer nothing kept.
Longer notes
Hands-free mode: start with a shortcut, stop with the same one. Up to 10 minutes at a time.
Works with Wi-Fi off
Dictation works the same without a connection. On some Macs, a local model downloads once first.

AURIS does not receive, store or transmit your notes: we never have access to them, so no business associate agreement (BAA) with us comes into play. Your practice remains responsible for securing its own computers and records, as with any software you use. We describe exactly what AURIS does on our trust page.

Does AURIS listen during the session?
No. AURIS listens only while you hold the key, or in hands-free mode until you stop it. It is not a session recorder.
Where does the audio go?
I use Windows.
